You can tell straight away how much thought and care has gone into the place. We had lovely handwritten notes waiting for us, everything was spotless and clean, and there were so many little extras, all the condiments, a bottle of local bubbly in the fridge, cheese and crackers and some treats too. Such a nice touch! The wildlife was probably one of our favourite parts. We had so many kangaroos come into the yard both mornings, saw a possum, and could hear birds everywhere. It was so peaceful and the view was beautiful. The host was amazing with communication and really thoughtful. As we were arriving late, they left the lights on for us and had the air con going so it was the perfect temperature when we arrived. It just felt really homely and like everything had been thought of. We’d had a pretty bad Airbnb experience recently, so it was honestly so nice to stay somewhere that really delivered on the 5-star experience. We had the most incredible stay and couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Check-in and check-out were so easy, and we absolutely loved having the option to add an early arrival or late departure!

Being in the middle of July, and the fireplace inside made the cabin so cosy, while the outdoor fire pit was the perfect place to spend as the sun set over the mountains. One of our favourite moments was stargazing at night. The first evening was overcast, but on our second night the sky was unbelievably clear—we saw multiple shooting stars and it genuinely felt like something out of a movie.

The cabin was stocked with so much more than we expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some, so next time we’ll definitely be packing a lot lighter.

Overall, this place is truly something special. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, and you can see how much care Cathy and Manny have put into making the cabin feel magical. We’re so grateful they shared their beautiful home with us for the weekend and can’t wait to come back.

Amazing , outstanding don’t even come close to describing this place. From the moment you walk in the door the place smells good is spotlessly clean and the views just go on forever.

Indoor and outdoor fires with plenty of wood supplied were great and got plenty of use.

Outdoor barbecue immaculately clean. The kitchen the same with everything you could possibly need. Just bring food and cook up a storm.

We had no dealings with Manny but Cathy is a great communicator and did everything to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be back.

The most beautiful retreat! Such a stunning view, super comfortable furnishings and everything you could dream of for a weekend escape. The wallabies were so sweet, gentle and friendly and we loved feeding them by hand.

The accommodation was so clean it looked brand new and it was the perfect size for our group of 8.

Twig & Wren is one of those few holiday destinations which properly delivers on its promises.

The “cabin” – a description which massively understates its status – is comfortable and extremely well appointed and supplied. It is complemented with a setting and views of which written narrative will always fall short but the most appropriate of which is “stunning”. The narrow winding ribbon of bitumen to access the collection of ridge-located properties is a modest entry price, which ensures privacy and zero passers-by. In this context it seems banal to mention that the internet speed is also fantastic!

We wanted for little during our stay and enjoyed the retreat nature of this delightful accommodation.

had an absolutely beautiful weekend at twig and wren! accomodation was beyond amazing, it feels extremely homely, clean and fresh. the views/ landscape was like heaven. The wildlife was beautiful especially being able to feed the kangaroos and wallabies. the whole family enjoyed a few drinks while relaxing in the spa. thank you Twig & Wren for having us.
