From the moment we pulled into the driveway, and saw that view, I was overwhelmed by the stunning vista looking across the valley from the Mt George Mountain top. We settled into our Twig and Wren home, beautifully appointed with everything you could want for your stay, comfortable bed and furnishings. We loved the wood fire heater, the spa on the deck was a favourite happy hour destination with those views, WOW! Even the rain didn’t deter us from soaking up the ever changing view from every window while inside. We had lots of visits from the local wallabies and kangaroos looking for their snack that was provided by our hosts. Watching the joey’s bounce around their Mums was such a joy! It was very hard to leave this bit of paradise, we will definitely be staying again in the near future. The serenity I felt while there will stay with me, the sounds of birds 🐦 and nature.

What an experience! Brilliant communication, incredible attention to detail and lots of fun activities to do whilst relaxing. We had the most wonderful stay. Thank you! We will be here again. Might even end up being our annual family holiday destination. All the best

Everything was 10/10! Could not fault a thing. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The beds, linen and towels were excellent quality and so comfy.

The view is amazing!! Can not fault Twig and Wren and will definitely be coming back.

We’ve been coming to Eaglereach Resort for years and tried all different cabins and Twig & Wren was absolutely perfect. The thought put into every detail in each space was obvious. It felt like a home not a holiday stay with quality furnishings you don’t usually get at a rental. We love to cook and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with utensils and cookware! There was plenty of wood for the fires and we love a fire pit! The spa towels and make up removal towels were amazing touches. A bottle of bubbles, cheese and chocolates were above and beyond. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend Twig & Wren more highly.

We had the most amazing experience staying at Twig and Wren Wilderness Retreat. The cabin has everything you could need and is beautifully decorated. Our son (13yr old) loved the pool table and interacting with the wildlife. This trip away was just what we needed. So peaceful and relaxing. The view is stunning. We will be returning.
